Kept does not collect, send, sell, or analyze your data. All prompts, folders, and settings are stored locally in your browser. They never leave your computer unless you export a backup file yourself.
The prompts, folders, and settings you create are saved in your browser using Chrome's extension storage (chrome.storage.local). This data stays on your computer. It is not sent to any server and is not synced to other devices.
storage – to save your prompts locally in your browser.sidePanel – to show the extension in Chrome's side panel. The Copy button writes the prompt you click to your clipboard only when you click it.
Exporting creates a file that is saved on your computer by your browser. Importing reads a file you choose from your computer. Neither action sends data anywhere. You are responsible for the files you export.
Deleted prompts move to the Trash and can be restored until you empty the Trash or delete them permanently. Uninstalling the extension removes all data it stored in your browser, so export a backup first if you want to keep your prompts.
